Torta Tenerina is a traditional chocolate cake originating from the Ferrara region of Northern Italy. True to its name, meaning “tender cake,” it is characterized by a thin, crisp crust that contrasts with a moist, dense interior. By minimizing the use of flour, we have maximized the rich, fudgy texture and deep flavor inherent to the chocolate. As Leesar’s signature dessert, its true charm shines brightest when paired with a strong espresso.
